Worldkarts Belgium's largest indoor kart racing facility is the stage for the 2008 Indoor Kart Championship. The Worldkarts Kortrijk track has a fleet of 270cc 9hp karts and a huge challenging track with a tunnell and overpass. Full service facility, also offers bar and restaurant. A must stop for any indoor kart racing "afficcionado" when in Belgium!!

Waaihof Brasserie De Laiterie has been announced as the Official Restaurant of the 2008 IKWC! This great place is located within walking distance from the Worldkarts track, and serves delicious Belgian food and drinks. Waaithof will show their support for the IKWC, as well as the friendliness and generosity of the Belgian people by inviting all IKWC drivers to enjoy free food and drinks on August 6th, starting at 19:00hs (7pm). Team members and guests are also welcome to enjoy the evening for a small 10€ contribution. Everyone is encouraged to go to Waaihof and enjoy their great atmosphere throughout all days of the IKWC Belgium!! Waaihof is also sponsoring driver Matthias Maas at the World Championship. Live feed of lap times over the internet was not planned for the 2008 IKWC, but the great people from Kartgrid.be came out on their own and set up a system that will allow indoor kart racing fans from all across the world to follow the IKWC races as they happen!! Worldwide indoor karting fans sincerely appreciate Kartgrid's effort!!

Streetrace.be organizes special rental kart races on city streets in Belgium, and will be hosting an outdoor race on a temporary street circuit in the city of Jabbeke (about 50km from Kortrijk) on August 3, 2008. The race includes 1 hour practice/qualifying and a 4 hour race, and Streetrace.be uses a fleet of 200cc 6.5hp karts. Entry fee for IKWC drivers is $450.
